Welcome to my Lavandula web site. My collection of plants near Nottingham reflects an
interest in the species lavenders, many of which are not frost hardy. There is also a selection of the hardy cultivars.
I run a magazine, The Lavender Bag, which aims to collate information, particularly new research, on the genus. If you would like to send a contribution for publication, please email me at jhead@thelavenders.org . Selected articles from this magazine will be put up on this site from time to time. There are at present three National Collections of Lavandula held at various locations in the country under the auspices of The National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens . These are listed on the collections page of this web site.
