There are at present three other collections of Lavandula held at various locations in the country under the auspices of The National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens . This particular collection near Nottingham reflects an interest in the species lavenders, many of which are not frost hardy. There is also a selection of the hardy cultivars.
